Affleck injured, 'Batman vs. Superman' production delayed (update)

Warner Bros. just announced that Batman vs. Superman has been delayed until 2016
Why? well heres why

news and rumors heard that Affleck has sustained an injury, and as a result Batman vs. Superman production has been pushed back six weeks. The crew was informed of that decision earlier this week, and told they’ll be on hiatus for about a month. Update: A second and third source tells me that Affleck injured his ribs, not his leg as previously reported. All three sources confirmed that the injury occurred during a skiing accident around Christmas time.

It’s unclear exactly how serious this injury is. Just a few days ago Affleck was photographed walking around Los Angeles with his family, but apparently it’s big enough to keep him from working for a few weeks. Batman vs. Superman was scheduled to begin shooting next month, but if this turns out to be true, a March start date is much more likely.

If IGN is correct, this is slightly encouraging that they aren't going to rush this film, thus the visual effects won't suffer. There's also the rumor about them filming the JL movie at the same time as well. Pushing back a film date, depending on the reasons, can be a good thing sometimes. The production will be fine. I'm not worried. No need to worry, especially now that we won't see the film for two years from now.
