Making characters NOT move early

It's a huge annoyance of mine to see characters move before the game says "Fight" and I was wondering how to change this.  If it's different for every character, I understand, but it would be nice to know if there's a standard place to change things for every character.

It's especially annoying for the characters that not only move, but attack before the fight.  I think the worst offender of the characters I have (aside from Dr. Manhattan, because I don't count a character as a real character if they have a one-hit KO move--characters need to be conceivably beatable for them to be real characters) is Crusader Cast's Scorn, who already has an infinite move and starts said move before the round starts, meaning the character has no ability to ever fight back.

Moving before the fight is achieved because at the end of the intro states, normally states 190-199 someone has done this

[State Changestate]
type = changestate
trigger1 = animtime = 0 (or some other trigger)
value = 0
ctrl = 1 (and it's this that breaks it for you)

Set the ctrl to 0, it SHOULD solve the issue for you. When the round actually starts mugen will manage setting it to 1 so things are controllable.

Thank you.  I'll try that.  I'm one who likes a fair fight, and the only reason for a character to move before it's time is for the fight to not be fair.  I understand some people like that, but it's not me, of course.

Well, the way mugen works, that should normally provide nothing.

Intros should not have clsn boxes so you should be invulnerable. If they're in your face, you can do stuff before fight just as well as them.

The only problem is if they're gaining power during this process, that's a bit lame.
