You know, while I'm aware of Grant's position as the Sub-boss of Garou, I have to wonder if he(and Kain) can even be called a boss as the only thing he had as a CPU was better AI and a special CPU only intro/pallete.

CPU Kain at least had Full T.O.P bar when you beat him a round.

Well, this only depends on the game. Honestly, I prefer AI-only bosses, because when you play with them, you can play without the easiness of cheap attacks. Like in Soul Calibur 4, my favourite character is Algol, and he is not cheap.

Regarding Kain, I didn't know that he had a full T.O.P bar in a round. I would have fought against him like that with Tenshi.

That's only in the Source game. I don't think Abuhachi added a boss full T.O.P mode to Kain.
