-Capcom confirmed that there will be no on-disc downloadable content for the upcoming game DmC Devil May Cry, for those who are interested in DLC, you can purchase and download then online.

-Capcom said they do not have plans to port existing games to Wii U, games like Resident Evil 6 and Lost Planet 3 will not have Wii U ports. The company is looking to release original games, not ports on Wii U.

-Sony has filed a patent protection for a method to tag a game to monitor secondhand sales of games. It works by using a contactless RF tag on the game disc or cartridge, which can remember if the game has been tied to a specific machine or user account previously. The system would check the tag before booting up a game.

-Crystal Dynamics released new info of Tomb Raider's multiplayer mode, the game will have at least three multiplayer modes, including Team Deathmatch, Rescue and Cry For Help. In Team Deathmatch a team of Lara's surviving allies will be against a group of hostile natives known as scavengers. In the Rescue mode, the survivors need to collect medical packs and deliver them to rotating destinations, while the scavengers try to hunt them down.

Capcom announced that Capcom Arcade Cabinet will be coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 for free, it is a hub in which you can download and play retro Capcom arcade games. One starter game will be included for free, there will be new titles adding to the hub regularly at really low price. More details will be announced on Feb 7

Bethesda Softworks announced the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Expansion Packs "Dragonborn", "Hearthfire" and "Dawnguard" will arrive on PS3 and PC in February, all 3 packs will be 50% off during their launch week. Dragonborn will arrive on Feb 5, followed by the other two.

A flashcard manufacturer Ace3DS claimed that a new flash card called Ace 3DS Pro will be coming soon, which can toggle between NDS and 3DS mode, and run one 3DS game off the card....

RUMOR: Digital Foundry released some expected configuration in the next gen PlayStation, it will have 8-core CPUs at 1.6GHz by AMD. The next gen PlayStation will also have Radeon 7970M GPU running at 800Mhz with 18 graphics cores.

RUMOR: VGLeaks reported that the next-gen Xbox codenamed Durango, will have 8 core CPU at 1.6GHz in X64 architecture; each core has one fully independent hardware thread with no shared execution resource. The GPU is a custom Direct 3D 11.1 class 800MHz processor with 12 shader cores providing 768 threads, which can handle 1.2 trillion flops. There will be 8GB DDR3 RAM, a 6x Blu-Ray Drive, built-in Kinect, and built-in hard drive.

RUMOR: Sega will announced a new Sonic the Hedgehog title in early February, which will be aiming for mid year release. The game will be coming to all platforms, the 3DS version will be similar to Sonic Rush, while the Vita version will be identical to the PS3 version.

RUMOR: Kotaku reported that specs of Sony's next gen console has been leaked through the official SDK model DVKT-KSoook-as from Sony, the system is said to have 8GB memory, 4X Dual Core AMD64 Bulldozer processors.....

Capcom's Christian Svensson said that Resident Evil: Mercenaries may be coming to HD consoles, the game will be extremely expanded with modern visuals. He will talk more about this next week

Capcom confirmed that Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will include the original Dragon's Dogma game on the same disc. When you start the Dark Arisen expansion, you can transfer your original save data, costume packs, rift crystals and stones to the new game.

Nintendo also confirmed that a brand new Zelda game is in development, however this project will take some time before more details could be released.


Capcom confirmed that Biohazard Revelations: Unveiled Edition [Resident Evil: Revelations] will be heading to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC in Japan on May 23.....

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate producer David Cox confirmed that the 3DS title may see a HD release on consoles, the game was developed in high definition and then shrunk down to the 3DS screen size. Konami is considering a HD version, although the game has an exclusive agreement with Nintendo.
