man i remember my first train ride like it was yesterday...it was 1978, i was 4 years old and my mom, my lil brothers who was 2, my 2 uncles who were teens in high school went to the Franklin Institute in Philly. mann i was so excited but dang near cried cause i had to go to the bathroom when we got near the stop.
lucky my uncles got me to the bathroom just in time! Man i had so much fun, they had toys there everywhere and animals in the lower level like a petting zoo for kids. it was a huge toy expo that year and the franklin Institute was the one sponsering the large function. its one of the many things i can remember from being that young. plus we still got a few pictures of it at my grandmoms in an old photobook. havent seen it in years but i remember that day big time!
