should i get borderlands?

ok, i've played fallout 3 and new vegas to death and back and now i wanna think about borderlands.

(i know i'm late by a year )

so, if i like fallout and vegas, will i like borderlands? and can i skip borderlands 1 and just get 2 or would i be all f'd up in the story or something?

You cant go wrong getting both games. Both are great. the sequel just out did the first in obvious ways that it was supposed to as a real good sequel. Both has great DLCs

My favorite of the first one is the Zombie DLC classic. The Island of Dr ned...that was crazy man

To respect the second one you have to get a dose of the first one. And both are way more than just clothes and guns. this is new enemies. areas and missions. The borderland series is flawless

so the special ed of BL1 is 30$ on psn, i will get all dlc and the full game... i liked rage and i liked fallout 3 and vegas...

hell yeh. well worth it and its LESS than 60-65 bucks. remember we had to first get that game with no DLCs for 60-65 bucks on first release and then spend like what?..10-bucks on the released DLCs? its worth it man^^

Yeh Fallout 3 was and still is my top fav. Vegas for certain reasons could have been better IMO. In the sense of i didnt like how they had the level up system this time.

but it took like 3 hours to get into the good part and really start liking the game

Just my 2 cents, enjoy BL1as long as you can before BL2. To me, BL1 is a different experience and stands out as a title you can play even as new games roll out. Like DEMONKAI said, BL2 is a true sequal and does everything better, but that doesn't detract from the fact that BL1 is a really good game through & through.

No problem! Thats sorta the same thing that happened to me too the first time i got into the game. it took me a good maybe hour n change to finally get sucked in once i saw all the mayhem that goes on. the enemies types and all the damn level ups and weapons. Classic game like fallout 3.

BL2 all i gotta say is be ready for a wild ride and have fun keeping an eye out for different easter eggs and hilarious references from other cartoons or films

You got it for the PS3 right? thats a PSN issue. with 360 you can private or partying chat any way you want no matter what game it is. basically if im playing borderlands and a friend is playing fallout 3 we could chat and of course while playing the same game we can on the headsets .

I have both systems but i have both BL games for that reason for that 360 system in particular. Thats the only thing i always never like about ps3.

Yeh for PS3 im assuming so man. i never played those games on that system since i was aware that being on the headsets at times with that system is a drag at times. but with xbox 360 theres never a time where you cant chat on the mic. even if the game didnt have co op headset chat for some odd reason you could still just set up private chat and keep things rocking
