What video game are you playing right now?

I found my "Dark souls" for my 360. my 3yr old nephew in law misplaced it when he came to visit so now since i found it again ive been rocking that lately. Great looking game and i love the atmosphere but lord its freakin tough^^

But i still dig it though

I just got into the Mass Effect series.

Dragon's Dogma.  Dark Souls was awesome.  If you never played Demon's Souls before that give it a whirl, it's pretty damn good still.

Dragon's Dogma has a few elements reminiscent of the Souls games but is way easier by comparison. I kind of wish it was a model for at least a few MMO's as opposed to button mashing hotbar standard. 

Once this is done, Borderlands 2 will be on the palette.

DragDog is fun. Just wish they put a little more work into the story, the enemy spawn points, and the world. The story is weak and hard to understand the first play through, the enemies spawn at THE EXACT SAME SPOTS EVERY TIME, and you only get to explore about 40%-60% of the actual world. other than that, it had potential for the greatest RPG I have ever played. There is going to be a sequel, hopefully it will fix all of that. I still highly recommend the game despite it's flaws.

EDIT: And Crapcom, PLEASE make the pawns less vocal this time.

Before discovering XBMC (cool media manager, lots of apps) I was playing a lot of MAME. I finally sat down and really played KOF ('98 and '02) and learned they are awesome. A few others too (Ninja Gaiden, KotM, SFIII).

Also played the (super long) Dragons Dogma demo. It was cool, but throwing people was the most fun.

I agree on pretty much everything stated, especially that it's still a hell of a game despite the flaws.  I know you can change how vocal your main pawn is, which surprised me that they didn't use that standard for the recruited ones.  I think the static spawns was the biggest killer seeing as most of your time was spent running the same paths on your way to the quests.  A hell of a lot of potential in a stale rehashed Action/RPG market which I hope gets improved.  They could have a killer series if they take this one seriously and don't halfass it and then flood it with DLC.

I have been playing Dark Souls for my 360 as well and starting today I will be playing Guild Wars 2 a lot. Also I have been playing Diablo 3 some of the time. Though Dark Souls has been eating up most of my play time , the game just so addictive. I did not like Dark Souls at first but, after making it a little ways into the game it grew on me and I have been playing it a whole lot ever since. Though Guild Wars 2 will probably be competing with it as far as what I will be playing most of the for a while .
