The story behind it is also quite quirky as well.. Wily and Sigma taking down 7 Megamen, two of which whom have had no extreme difficulty in taking them down several times before. :-?? The current design for the Megaman of this game sort of reminds me of.. Soma Cruz from the Castlevania series. IMO, if they're going to do a Megaman crossover, something like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. But overall, this doesn't seem anything like an original Capcom product, especially with it being on the iOS.

2 things:

1. I don't see how this game sucks, especially since all we have is a shot and a description. To me it SOUNDS good. And looks pretty good too. But I haven't played it or seen gameplay.

2. I doubt Capcom goes around trying to get rid of their money makers over someone leaving. Megaman is a money-maker, so they don't want to 'kill him off'. I doubt they 'care' about Inafune leaving, just happy they still own the Blue Bomber and his ability to copy the money of the customers into Capcom's profits.

Personally I see it as this:
If it is good, I have a cool new Megaman game to play and Capcom gets money.
If it sucks, I waste bandwidth downloading it and Capcom wastes money.

i wont decide how horrible it is untill they release it for free on android
personaly i think it would be best if capcom sold megaman to a better company (i dont know who)
i wouldnt know who would make good mm games and not radicaly change things
(square enix is the only studio i know and like, but i doubt it's their stye)

but you know it would get sold off to whoever makes call of duty, to make some godawful fps
just to make countless mm fans actualy put a bullet in their head when it's released
You know they're scraping the bottom of the barrel when they make me a mod
