Hello again IMT! Well it took a while to work on, but it was well worth it.

Everyone...I give to you MvC Chill Penguin!

Sprites look nice. Although is it me or does he seem a bit too small.

I don't remember how tall he was compared to other Robot Masters so maybe I'm wrong

I think all of us want to have the X roster slightly larger than the regular MegaMan characters, but I still think this was some great sprite work. Feedback:

1) The projectile can become an infinite
2) It looks like the opponent doesn't pause during the level 3 hyper, leaving time to be attacked.
3) The air combo can only be done while at the peak of a jump, if done will ascending the combo will wiff. This is about the air attack's hitdef properties.
4) It would be cool if the D,F,kick attack broke the ice penguines made by the D,B,punch attack.
5) Due to timing it's really diificult to get an air hyper at the end of air combos except when in the corner.
6) The landing (after jump) animation takes too long leaving Penguine vulnerable.

I noticed you left the advanced guarding (push block) in tact. You might want to mention that in the move list.

Thanks for the release, he's really well done!

My feedback is basically pretty much what Acey said, avoid having infinites as well.

Never expected this today.  I just tried him out, I really like him great job!  The ice effects and penguins are real nice.   :thumbsup:
The only thing I can suggest is to maybe give him a move where he jumps in the air and makes it snow like he does in X1.

To my knowledge I believe Chill Penguin is smaller then Megaman X.

Surprisingly soild

Aside from what Acey Mention. Jumping F.Punch is also a VERY easy Infinite in the corner and a very doable one outside of it.

Edit: Also, is it intentional for the D,F+K slide to be VERY OTG/Cancel friendly? cause as it stands, you can do a simple but tough to do Infinte by Sliding, Cancel into Crouching H.Kick and Cancelling THAT back into the slide

3) Ah...I definitely see what you mean about the air combos. I will fix this.
4) I forgot about that! Where he slides and breaks the ice penguins on his own. I will work on it.

No, no; you're not wrong. I don't exactly know how tall he was either. I had to edit him a little more taller because he was about the height of Roll before.

Comparing him to Megaman, I guess he would be slightly shorter.

The only thing I can suggest is to maybe give him a move where he jumps in the air and makes it snow like he does in X1.

Actually, that is a pretty decent idea. It could be like a "slow-down" effect for the opponent; something like Amaterasu in MVC3.

1) The projectile should have an ID assigned to it, just add a trigger in the CMD file that says the move can't be performed when there is already a projectile on the screen. It also means you'll need to make sure the projectile has a "destroyself" that activates once the projectile is off screen.

2) I mean while the hyper is starting up the opponent can move around, thus hitting you while you're starting the hyper.

Thanks for making this!  It is a very solid all around character.

The only things of note as far as I had were already previously mentioned.  The key ones were the infinites and the one that seemed glaring outside of that was the D,DF, F + HK and D + HK link-ability to each other.  You can easily press an opponent into a corner with this and just continue to spam it until they are dead or until you feel like mixing it up.  His damage output seemed just a tad on the low side to me, maybe 10-15% more on attack would level it out, just a personal opinion though.  The level 3 super really needs to either pause the enemy or have chill be invulnerable for a second.  Since he is a low damage and high combo character, the low damage and vulnerability of the move make it not worth using as even the lowest level AI's punched me out of it.

His sounds were clear and crisp and you did a good job ripping them.  They were straight out of Maverick Hunter X if I recall correctly.

The artwork was great as well and left little to be desired.  I didn't have any problems with his size as I remember him being quite short.  Since his attacks didn't have range, the penguin slide and dashes were a nice way to close the distance.  The intros did made me laugh and were well executed.  You definitely gave him a lot of  character all around.

Overall a great addition to have, I would recommend this to anyone who loves Megaman or MVC style characters.
