So when i downloaded the sounds for Sauron they were not .wav files..so i converted the sound files useing my audio converter to convert them to .wav format but for some reason they still don't work..do yall know how this can be fixed? :-??

You've imported them INTO a .snd file right?

Some sounds wind up with terrible header information or what have you. For the sake of testing only. Re-record one of the sounds, don't really care how. Or even make your own with a microphone and try and make use of that. See if that works. If no, you have another problem.

O wait so i was suppose to create a folder named .snd and put the sounds into it or do it another way? and i don't have a microphone and even if i did i wouldn't know how to make his sounds so thats a bust

Uhh, no.

Open fighter factory. Open the SOUND tab and add your sounds in. Give them group and file numbers in there.

How were you trying to do it at the moment? I mean, how did you think mugen knew what sound was what?

OOOO  o.O# that way yea i been did that thats how i found out they wasn't working because i gave them the assigned group and sound number and everything and i put it in the constants so i can try out the sound and it didn't work

ok, so back to first post then. Find any wav file, doesn't matter what. Put it in your .snd and see if it works.

I think you have got the code wrong then.

Post it.

In fact, most of the time it is an EXCELLENT plan to post code if something is not working regardless. If you need to know about an "idea" don't post it. But if you've done something and it's not working right, post code right off the bat.
