M. Bison by POTS Color Separation Patch
« on: May 28, 2012, 03:07:15 PM »
Finished up Bison's color separation today.  Included are his 12 default pals, his template palette, and a handful new ones.

Before I get this I wanna know more about POTs M Bison.

I've been looking for a good Bison for my personal roster and I'm that kind of person who doesn't like to have more than one version of a char (Cap America being an exception, mainly because Ultimate Cap and Acey's Cap are quite different. Plus Bucky)

If you want a Bison with solid gameplay, look no further.  His Bison has made a permanent stay in my roster along with every other character he released.  If you want to know about his gameplay, he plays similarly to his CvS counterpart with several attacks from nearly every game he's appeared in. (Like every other PotS character). In other words, it's fantastic and you should get it.

This is a great CS sprite set, I love the first, second, and third palettes.  Great stuff all around.

How long does this usually take anyway?

Thanks everyone for the comments.  The sleeveless pal is a reference to one of his SSF4 costumes.

@rafhot:
How's this?

@Error Macro:
Once I get the template squared away, each sprite takes about 5-8 minutes, depending on the complexity of the separation.  All in all, it takes me a couple months to do each one.  I would have had him done a few weeks ago, but I decided to go back and separate the arms and the trim around the chest piece.

How similar/different is CvS gameplay from MvC gameplay?

Not like MvC gameplay at all.  It's more close to SF with a bit KOF stuff than anything.

Damn.  That's quite a process.

Whoops, forgot to do Bison's cape for the Red Skull pal.  Updated link in previous post.

@Error Macro:
It's tedious, but it's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it.  I can't code or sprite, so I figured I'd try and contribute in some fashion.

Cape? Judging from the gifs, I figured this Bison lacked a cape
