Jackman, Bale, Reeves, the Rock

Have all worked up into the part.

With the big guys you trade down with acting ability. Pro wrestlers are always name dropped in these type game, and most would be awful at the parts.

I'll take acting ability over physique anyday.

It' easier to put on a couple pounds of muscle then to train a muscle head to act.

Just how I feel about it anyway. If someone seriously picked the Old Spice guy over Shemar Moore, youd be crazy.

hmmmm i vouch michael Jai White for the role of Luke cage, i think he would be perfect fit..  why?
he can act
he can fight and is a real life martial artist and even studied a lil boxing
and he buff and cut to death.
plus he has a great voice for the part as well. Good for that seriousness.

I'll agree there shouldn't be some untalented wrestler who can't act cast, but the actor should be bigger. Bane for example.

But I'd concede for Shemar Moore to play John Stewart then.

nahh he dont get quite the name drop i think people would think he would get to play thoise buff black guy parts.  he hasnt played in ALOT of big budget movies as a lead role anyway except for his Spawn and i think he was in a tyler Perry movie. he actually has of good acting skills as well but he seems to adhere even more to his martial arts prowess in movies. so i think he gets that with all his criteria . they could always pick a wrestler......

I too think shemar moore play a good John stewart. i watch that show too  . good actor indeed. i always wonder something, i keep think the lady gaga computer hacker babe likes him but doesnt say anything.

Theres some luv there, but it's a big brother thing. Unless some child mutilating serial killer gets her, and then I could see some drama happening out of that.

My favorite arc was the Reaper. When he had Hotch near unconcsious and s-l-o-w-ly stabbed him repeatedly that had me cringing, as badly as if they'd showed it in full gore.

But no I meant Michael Jai White gets name dropped in fanboy debates like this all the time. In hollywood youre right, not so much.

you know what alex....sorry to go off topic here ...again maybe.

but there actually was an episode where she had some dude she was dating and i think he was the culp[rit and shemar moore was freaking out and even before was very over protective of her..just like a big bro of sorts. so yeah i thinkin even now its more likie that.  But yeah anything concerning her, he always makes it a point to be stern and serious.


thing is people will name drop those they believe fit the part maybe even more visually and aside of the traditional in hollywood  " he is a great actor an has played many roles that could squeeze him/her to fit even more".. on the more astethics side but then the fans go...but does he/she look the part and has the tools to make us believe that he /she is acutally reflecting well the character/s they are portraying us fans.  so even with fans you still have to sell the acting too. For me, even tho he wore a Mask dang near the whole movie, ... Jackie Earle Haley played a very well and convincing Rorschach for me. so its not just finding the right versitile actor in versing ability of the script but as well selling the visual to make you believe even more. i folloow it like this bro Alex when it comes to character adaption movies.. i rather have both types in one actor then one over the other. great sell.
