Questions about mugen 1.0

i'm using it but i have a problem: for this game i'm always player 2! why? and also is there a tool for mugen 1.0 that allows u to install characters and stages easily? ultimate installer doesn't work.

1) go check your imput config in the options menu

ah i don't know where should i go to modify the input...i went into mugen.cfg

i modified the input menu like this:

[Input]
P1.UseKeyboard = 1
P2.UseKeyboard = 0
P1.Joystick.type = 1
P2.Joystick.type = 0

but nothing for the game i'm always player 2, when i launch mugen and i try to modify commands i see that player 1 is disabled 0_0 why? with winmugen instead i'm player 1
