MUGEN Stories?
« on: November 12, 2011, 10:30:42 AM »
To note, this isn't story-line video nor Personal MUGEN Experiences related, rather...

Do you guys  make up a story for "Themed" MUGENs?

to clarify, I've been working on my own personal MVC3 Style MUGEN *using characters that are in VS Style... Barring one Special Guest* and for Fun, I made up a little story to go with it that involves Second coming AND the events of MVC1 *Mainly to Explain why Onslaught is the final Boss  ;)*

If asked, I WILL post a Roster and a bit more detailed Storyline, but No requests, k?

Anyways, back to the main point, do you guys do something like this?

When i am really bored yes. I make Mugen Tournaments or just storylines in general like i use to do back in my Dragonball Z Budokai 3/Budokai Tenkaichi days. I would write down a story line in notepad and everything.

Your story sounds interestings.

I do that with all fighting games. I'll go into Vs. Mode and be like "Okay Deadpool is stuck in the middle of Raccoon City and has to fight his way out" with all kinds of twists and changes.
In non-MUGEN games i serves as kind of variety training.

I don't really make a story for my own mugen, I'm all about organization. In my mind the story is simply a necessary evil when making a full game project to tie it together. The real meat is the fighting/game play experience.
