Like I said in the chat box, I was never crazy about Apple, especially their devices (Macs haunt my dreams...slight exaggeration) but as a business man and owner he was great. RIP.

its not really surprising he's been battling cancer for a while, he even resigned from his position because of it. his ideas were genius and he will be missed ::salute::

I heard earlier today...  :|

He had been battling his illness for years and was expected to happen any time soon, but not this soon...  /:O

Also, everyone says he was one of the biggest jerks to walk the earth, even worse than Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. He belittled employees in public and treated many with little to no respect...  :(

...but everyone agreed that he was a visionary, not an inventor, but a great innovator...  :-??

He invented the $1 CEO salaries that have become fairly popular now a days...   :thumbsup:

I know Apple will survive and prosper, but it will not be the same...  [-X

He actually acquired it from Lucasfilm. It was a 3D animation studio. After a while he took them into the direction of motion pictures and reached the agreement to do Toy Story, which he executive produced.

He then sold Pixar to Disney for 7.4 Billion...
