« on: April 12, 2011, 10:42:57 AM »
Who are the people in real life the inspire you, make you a better person, that you look up to?

I think the things that inspire people, and that give them entertainment tells you a lot about people.

Just a little better way we can get to know each other.

Yeah this has nothing to do with knowing you on a personal basis, allthough personal friends, and family are acceptable examples for some people.

When I say "real life" I mean people that "exist" as opposed to fantasy characters from fiction.

For example people in my list like Frank Miller, Alan Moore, Sascha Koneitzko, Jello Biafra, Matt Greonig are people who's ideas opened up doors for me at a young age that led me to find myself politically, religiously, philisophically, and morally. Probably more so than actual family in my case.

So yeah, thats the point. Things that help define you as an individual

i got ya bro. yeah i listed my fam cause they are the most influential people who have made a great impact on my life as a whole.
the others are who i grew up and kinda cultivaed my personality. i like fun, comical and zany outrageousness. at same the same time, intellectual  and spirited folks who are paving their ways in the way want wether technology or directing.  the music side is who i am , old school. lol and when comes to the martial arts , its those Shaw bros when i was a lil kid , 5 byears old at that i saw my first flick at the local theater on saturdays my uncle who was a martail arts took me there every saturday and from that i learned martial arts from childhood to my late late teens. so yeah same as you but in different ways i was very influenced by other real  people than just family.

you got some very cool people listed bro

Some of my heroes are:

Todd McFarlane
Frank Miller
Alan Moore
Brad Meltzer
Harold Ramis
Dan Aykroyd
Bill Murray
Ernie Hudson
Brandon Lee
Bruce Lee

McFarlane because of his style of artwork helped me form my own style for various ideas I had for games and other things.

Miller, Moore, and Meltzer for the way they can tell a story and that influencing me when I write a script or a story. If I had a certain story that seem like something one of the authors would write I would always ask myself "What would (Insert name) do next?"

The Original Ghostbusters ( I'll just call them that so I can group them). I was always a fan of them. If they had a small part in a movie I would have to see that movie. Hell, I watched Fantastic Mr. Fox just to hear Bill Murray say "Demolition Experts!" Well the movie was still good regardless.

The Lee's have always kept me wishing they were still alive but Bruce has always taught discipline and always fight for what you believe in. Brandon no one really got to know but with his role in The Crow he cemented a spot as one of my heroes because his character showed the same thing his father always did and that was fight for what you believe in.
