Case of Nostalgia

I started to play a Shining Force rom I downloaded for my Sega emulator....when I heard that intro music I had the biggest head rush of nostalgia i could have fallen out of my seat. It just took me back to that time when I was playing this on Sega Genesis, my cousin told me about it when he was in college and I used to beg him like crazy to let me play it and when I did, I was hooked on that game from the start. The cartridge was kinda messed up cuz the save feature in the game didnt work so I left my Sega Genesis on at nights when I was asleep and woke up the next morning playing it where I left off until I beat it. Then he told me about Shining Force 2, It was just like Shining Force part 1 story......I begged him again, and I liked that one even more I heard about a part 3 but I never played it so that was a dream never to come true , I miss this game. Its one of, if not THE, best RPG that I have ever played and I really wish they would bring it back, I would love to see a remake as long as they dont change the real time-based gameplay. We need games like this to make a comeback, man I love Shining Force (never thought I would ever say that about a video game)

I didn't play the game, but a same thing is happening to me now.  Recently, I and my friend started talking about Power Rangers series.  After we watched some episodes, my friend told me that he wish to go back to the time when he used to watch the TV series.  In addition, we watched some Sentai series and Metal Hero series that I watched when I was a kid (my friend didn't watch those btw).  Now I have nostalgia for those old TV shows that I used to watch...
