Being a space nut (funny as I have SERIOUS Acrophobia) I am sure was an unforgettable experience. Like they didn't even have to be out there with the balloon or anything, but just the whole procedure and everything must have been a blast to work with. I'm wondering if there was anything about this experiment that scientists and aeronautic researchers can use to future reference? I mean, sure they have WAY more high tech devices and whatnot that have been sent off into space, but for something so simple to have been accomplished here, I'm sure there was SOMETHING that could be gained from it...right?

well as far as somethimng coming from that,  just some lil space view data and pics  for national geographic of course. but then again who knows.  If a spaceship was caugh on video then the Gov sure would be all over it.
yeah there i so much high tech stuff already up there where the camera was and farther out so that kind of video wouldnt probably provide much more than what they being doing for a very longggggg time already. but hey knows wht they can use the vid for really. your guesses are as good as mine.

i mean i was thinkin maybe The govs super cam might have caught somethin in the distance zipping by er somethin not normal and can be reported. be cool if there was some sort of odd activity happening the time it was out there. im just amazed how fast that on balloon project zipped up into space. that says a lot right there. I mean hopefully father and son do that more often or more people catch on to doing that cuz you never know what we may uncover these days. especially with all the buzz about how the sun and earth is reacting these days. so this is all very interesting to me. I always check out "Science daily" on the net
