Ooze from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition
« on: September 16, 2010, 11:06:58 PM »
Here is Ivan Ooze, from Might Morphin' Power Rangers: Fighting Edition.

I'm using the SNES sprites, but I a friend of mine had free time, he will be made using CVS-style sprites.

Ooze, on that game, is very cheap. I will mantain some of the cheapness (since he is a boss), but I will halve some too.

What is done?

-Spark Punch

-Energy Void

-Energy Pillar

-Homming Fireball (3, 4 or 5 fireballs, random)

-Winpose

ShockDingo made nice custom voices.

The sprites will be replaced by the CVS version:

More to come.

To this day, I still hate Power Rangers.. I liked the original first season when I was a little boy.. but the only game that really got to me was that 1st or 2nd one I think... it was fantastic!

Not a fan of the character but he is looking great. Sprite work is top notch. :)

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

I'm looking forward to this character (sprites are awesome, and he will be very strong); he will be one of best characters from TV shows and movies!   :cool

I dont know if ive just got bad eyes or what, but the head on Ivan Ooze dosnt look allot like the orignal,, something about it looks weird to me. Its like he's got extra bony bits and red eyes..and its a darker color then the skin on his hands. Otherwize i like how this is going

Really like your wip. U can use a hyper or a mode that becomes bigger like all the monsters in Power Rangers.  Moreover u can use in his attacks the purple ooze which is like a glue(the ooze can control his opponents or charges of purple electricity) and u can make a hyper with his two monsters Scorpitron and Hornitor. Moreover u can make an intro regarding his release from the egg!!

These are my Ideas!!!!

No, its right. on the SNES version, they haven't made all the details, but Fel_Llop used this real image to make the edits:

The red eyes is a palete separation.
