Converting sprites to Hi-Res problem

So I've been screwing around with that 2xScale thing converting a character into a hi-res model and I've got it mostly figured out but when I run MUGEN the characters blown up and takes up most of the screen instead of being a scaled down hi-res character like the Guilty Gear and Arcana Hearts characters. How do I fix this?

In the character's constants, change the x and yscale to .5 (That is, unless you used the 4xscale one)

Nah, I used the 2x. Thanks I'll give that shot.

EDIT: It worked! Just for reference, what would be the scale if I had used 4x?

probably something like .25 or .28

I have one more question, I understand the thing about the double collision, increasing the collision boxes size to fit the characters, but does the program that comes with the 2xScale only increase them to 2x or is there a way to increase it to 4x or would you just have double up again once you've doubled up the collision boxes?

In other words would you double your collision, then double them again or is there different way it should be done?

The program I believe is Kong's Double CLSN Tool, you can download it on the main site, but I never tried it out, so it might not work.

Yes, that same program comes with the 2xScale program. What I'm basically asking is, how do I quadruple the size of the collision boxes rather than just double it?
