youtube surfing..scott pilgrim vs the world game

i downloaded the game and its outstanding. brings back that old double dragon feel. constant power..ups every character has there own powers and move sets i beat it yesterday and there are still of unlockable items characters ( seems to be two more)..the L1 summons a gil named knives where she does 4 different things...for the four different characters. i unlocked some matrix lookin ninja and he replaced knives???..and a rpg upgrade system..anyway only down side is no online co op..i mean im 27, i cant ask my friends wanna come over when ur kids up from day care and play..anyway it gets a 5/5 .

If Knives was replaced by a more powerful ninja, it's probably her father.

There are unlockable characters? Who are they?

Oh no you see, what happens is you can call upon knives as a striker she'll do some move that is different for all 4 of the main characters. I think after you beat the game though you see Mr.Chau (Knives father) on the world map, you walk to him fight and beat him then you unlock Mr.Chau and Mrs.Chau as strikers. These strikers are completely random but from what I know Mrs.Chau appears less than Mr.Chau and Mr.Chau appears less than Knives.

Edit: I just realized, there's a Mortal Kombat reference in the game.

There's a blood cheat code and its entered exactly like the Sega Genesis' Mortal Kombats blood code

On Sega MK had a blood cheat code it was A, B, A, C, A, B, B

On Scott Pilgrims game it is X, Circle, X, Square, X, Circle Circle

The pattern is the same as Mortal Kombats. The only problem, all the code does in Scotts game is make the hitsparks red.

This game looks outstanding, but I have one huge problem with it. Why is there no online co-op mode?

Not that familiar with the Scott Pilgrim comic and the movie looks kinda lame, but I played this at a buddy's house and it's actually really good. Robert Paulson's spritework is incredible, the music is awesome, and the game really shines with at least two other people.

I downloaded this just to try it and must say this game is great! It's more than I expected. After beating the demo I bought the full game on the spot. A shame no online coop feature, but apart from that this game is up there with the good ol' old school beat 'em ups, while the shopping feature just keeps you bustin' up heads to get more cash to buy stuff

Game needs online i wouldnt be suprised if its patched in due to the high demand Like my entire friends list was literally on at the same time. Also Your on PSN Sabaki? Do i already have you added?

Yeah, I'm on regularly, usually in the evening. I don't remember adding you either. My PSN ID is hanzouds.

Yeah, this game needs online support, badly. It's fun on your own, but when you have a buddy to run through the game together, its 100x better!
