I just got done watching the movie and it is one of my favorite films now. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the end. Although the movie is based off of a poem of the same name.

I don't want to spoil any of the movie but if you want how I think of the movie.
I'd give it a 9/10.

CGI never looked so good to me. THe whole movie I was trying to determine whether they're cgi characters or not.

Thanks for putting it into words at first i couldnt explain how i felt about it cause on one hand i like it but on the other i expected so much from it (Guess i shouldnt have expected GOW ) but the movie had it's high's and lows. For starters the cheesy humor in the fight scene was not really funny (Was to shrek for my taste) but the last battle scene was sick and showed just how far a man would go to redeem himself. I would have to give it a 7/10 (Oh and the 3D glasses really didnt do it for me)

I never actually read the poem (and I passed poetry class). As for me I came in with now expectations, and came out amazed.
I don't even think I've seen a Final Fantasy that had as good graphics as that movie, (even Advent Children).
Honestly when I think of American CG, I think of things like Shrek and TMNT.
