Interesting character.  I never really heard of breakman before, but changing his facial features seems to be more of a palette swap. If you actually want him to be different from protoman, I would suggest what moonmaster1 said.

But again, we come back to the initial problem, BreakMan is ProtoMan.

Personally, and I know some of us here agree, I'd imagine Breakman as a hyper state akin to Mecha Zangief. I'd have him at full speed it would last only for so long, then he reverts back to normal.

Seeing that Chaotic's mugen works are open sourced and this is under the w.i.p. section, I wouldn't mind another protoman under the condition that he looks and plays differently than Chaotic's version to avoid a carbon copy release plus that one extra move that was cool just that one time.

I mean its not like this break/protoman is intended for the robot master project. So if Pymann is serious about recreating the character or remixing him like they do with scruffy characters *lobo, lex* then we shouldn't stunt the creativity process by saying we already have a protoman. That being said I do believe there needs to be more work on the sprite to differentiate from Chaotic's protoman.

Looks like a sprite...and maybe sound swap to me. Without permission there isn't much way this will progress here.

I have rearranged his light,medium,strong punches/kicks in standing/crouching/air so he plays a little different!  Like Protoman's Slide kick is now where Breakman Lauches at you doing a roundhouse like crouch kick thing.  So now he plays a little differently but I am working on messing with his specials.  I might do the C. America thing with teh shield but I'm not good at coding.  But I can try! So he shoots and throws the shield!


edit:BAM! ChAoTiC said I could use him so I now have permission "full" permission!

You can always get a coder involved. Lots of folks such as The Anvil sprite everything and pass it to a coder.

I don't why this couldn't be a collaborative effort.

I don't need another coder because after all in MM3 Breakman can only shoot while jumping.  So I might just remove shooting completely!  Or Just remove one of his otherr specials so he throws the shield instead.  Yeah I think I'll remove the Proto Strike move for Shield Toss.

Scratch that Idea also I fixed his pallete to use his actual eye color which is blue not green and made a 2nd pallete that I call dark Breakman
