changing part of the Megaman screenpack (for personal purposes)

For the bottom-left screen (the vs. screen), I would like to be able to change the large picture of Bass from the [9000, 1] sprite to another sprite, something like [9000, 100].  Could anyone help me do this?  Thanks! 

note: This is purely a private edit, and I won't do anything stupid like host it for download claiming it as my own.  Just letting y'all know.

Get Fighter Factory Ultimate... open him in there.. http://virtualltek.com/

If it was a project, and has no char folder.. just the data folder or w/e, then you're outta luck.

ohhhh, my bad, I didn't explain that too well.

Yeah, I can open up the character in FF, and I know how to change the sprite.  However, I want to keep the select screen using those same 9000, 0 sprites for big portraits, while I want the vs. screen to use different sprites for the portaits, at least the big one where Bass is.  I seem to recall seeing similar stuff done in the past.

Can you open the characters individually and change the pictures? If not, you'll have to talk to a screenpack creator because I don't know too much about creating or editing screenpacks...
