Author Topic: So apparently you can hack the 360 version of WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010... (Read 678 times)

Here's what I mean, take a look at the videos I've shown below... Now for those of you who have this game, we all know that Boogeyman, and Ric Flair aren't in the game.. BUT somehow this guy was able to hack Ric Flair and The Boogeyman's character models in from SVR 2008 to this game.. Now I've tried getting some info from the video creator but he's not giving anybody any information other than "a little birdie told me." So i'm reaching out to you guys. Do any of you know how he might have possibly done this?

On a side note, IMO that guy is a total d*** if he isn't sharing this info with other people..

hmm well i think hes prolly paranoid about gettin into trouble for Hacking. Cuz can get into trouble for that sorta stuff.
Not everybody is cool on the net and are dweebs and may sell em out on some stupidness...

thats just my opinion

probably he just did them with the CAW feature of this game...although who knows if you can do that after all...

He's probably not saying anything or distributing because its illegal. M$ hates it when people hack the 360. So if he hacked the game he needed a modded console (firmware hack.) Before you can alter a game on the 360 you have to make the 360 able to play burnt/backup copies. That is the firmware hack. You use a custom DVD firmware (undetectable by M$.)

to fool the DVD drive into thinking that the burned copy is a legit copy. so that means when he did the actual console hack it turned into an illegal box by M$'s standards. So he does not wanna get caught.

Also I doubt he took the models from another game. Some games have the characters or features on the disk and you just have to flip some bytes in some of the hex to get the features enabled.

Meaning he altered the data in the disk itself to add the character. he probably just altered a line of the Hex.

Stuff like this happened with SC4 with a couple of the characters.

BTW Yes the DVD drve hack not this hack, is still undetectable. The reason why people have been getting banned lately from xbox live (read all the hacking forums.) is because most of those people played Halo3 ODST french leak. Which had a corrupted ISO. The french person who leaked the game did not give out the final rar file because he did not wanna get in trouble. So some smart people extracted the iso and injected dummy data into the ISO to get it to work. SO that in turn flipped M$ because the 360 reported it was a bad disk. Thats why people are getting banned.

Only reason why M$ figure something out about modded consoles are because people download the leaked version and don't wait till street date when an online database checks the iso and fixes it if it is messed up.

Also the 360 has what is called a NAND chip which reports any issues to M$ pertaining to corrupted or illegal disks. As soon as xbox live is fired up it reports the disk to them. So even if you don't use live for 4 months as soon as you log back in it instantly reports you then they do a ban wave every so often.

BTW im telling you all this because unless you wanna dive into this scene you cannot do this.

Also this hack will be detected by M$ easily. If this dude logged on xbox live he will be banned soon. Altering the game disk alters the CRC embedded in it and in return reports a bad disk.

yep! thats exactly what i was saying before man. Once a person hacks somethin its a touchey subject and not everybody is gonna spill the beans on what they did to get it done all the time....i should know

so i doubt the guy tells anyone how he did that

These aren't CAWs if that's what you mean. There is no hair in the CAW Mode like the one on Ric Flair. If you own a copy of Smackdown vs Raw 2008 you can see that the Ric Flair model in that game is the same one that was somehow hacked.

im pretty sure also. thats like with the street fighter 4 skins i saw with Vega (m bison) Looking like Sub Zero of MK n what not...

Obviously this is very botched right now, and I'll give more details how to do this when we figure out how to do it better. RVD is the only 07 model I've had to work without the game crashing, and as you can see he has a face on top of his head so that didn't work to well.

He would be only banned from XBOX Live right? If he had the money he could get two XBOX's one for Live and one for without... See.. Microsoft doesn't expect that...

Well yes only xbox live. But when M$ finds any illegal modding with either the system or the disk(only way they can find out atm.) they ban your console ID. Not your gamer tag unless they are really PO'd. Your console ID is tied directly to your hardware. SO if it gets banned no matter how many xbox live accounts you have you cannot get on xbox live. Its a perma ban on the hardware level. But you can get a new box and easily get passed it. But what normal person is gonna keep buying box's every time he/she gets banned? Most of the time people just gutswap.

But most of the time it takes only 1 console banning to learn your mistake and then it won't happen again. M$ also keep releasing xbox updates to stop hacking but usually it only stops us for 2.5 weeks to 1 month. They also end up banning legitimate xbox live subscribers. So they still have no idea exactly how we do it. Still the only way M$ find out you hacked your box is if you are stupid enough to download illegal software then use it before street date.

Gutswap means to remove all the actual hardware from your xbox 360 case buy a new 360 and swap the hardware, then take back the none banned hardware with the case.

But if anyone wants more information on modding/hacking in general. Google it. I'm not gonna speak anymore about it because its easy just to google and find out the information anyways.
