making the move to hi res FINALLY lol!!

I just need a lil help building my hi res mugen if anyones willing to give an assist. Can I use a low res screen pack on hires mugen or does it have to be a hi res screenpack? also is win mugen plus the one that I can use both hi and low res stages? Thanks for any help fellas!

good for you dude  ,to answer your questions:

-without some adjustments you wont want to use a low res screen pack.
-yes it is winmugen.

Thanks a lot!! Can I still use my low res stages, because I don't want to delete them and I will look around for a screenpack for like a bajillion characters !! I had a lot on my old mugen !! I wonder if there is a hi res marvel superheroes......

You'll want Winmugen Plus to keep both your hi- and lo-res stages at once.

As for a high-capacity SP to use in hi-res, there's always the IMT screenpacks. Alpha Storm and the various "TA" screenpacks are other popular choices (and if you really do have a bazillion chars, you'll probably want one of the TA motifs - some of them hold upwards of 40,000 char  )

@ I_ Burner: Any chance you could point me in the direction of those said motifs? And thanks man!! I'm using mugen super wars and I gotta see if I can increase the number for now or switch around the columns.....

IMT Hi-res screenpacks ( red and blue versions) can be found in the IMT Releases section. There's an option in both versions that holds over 3000 characters.

Alpha Storm screen pack I believe is in the database.

I use the original TA version w/o the category select (500+ chars) for my main roster, but I remember looking at some of the category-style versions and the select.defs were obscenely huge.

I got a chance to try those stages and they were great!! Especially the one on the lave transport thingie !! I couldn't really use the imt sp because of the def mad the characters overlap the portraits on screen !! So I found another that I can deal with. I swear I thought I saw a maverl superheroes hi res sp!! But thanks for all your help I-Burner and Whitenoise!!

And to repeat, everyhting you had in your low-res mugen will work in winMugenPlus except for the screen packs nad life bars. Really it's the only way to go until you're ready to switch over to the new "Release Canidates" beta versions that the new Elecbyte team is working on.
