@lando: Don't count on it. Looks like they're pulling the same kind of thing when they released the 3000 model.. Just a re-design. Nothing inside it's likely to change majorly that's good for us even with the re-design.

Well the 3000 had 5 times brighter contrast ratio, took away the annoying finger print magnet around the screen, had anti-reflective coating, and supports non hd video output cables.

I had a psp 1000 a few years ago and it was so bad. I dropped it a few times, and first the analog stick died, then the umd hatch died, and the screen got insanely scratched and scuffed. The 1000 was more of a prototype than anything.

As for the go, well it fails. I mean there's just no redeeming factor of it. Making psp wallpapers is pretty cool. I made a I-No wallpaper. .

what I really don't get on the PSP is the multiplayer. They should definitely fix it to make it global.. most games like Dissidia... you can only play if someone's in the same building playing with you... it's bull crap...

It is possible to play PSP games multiplayer but you need either XLink Kai or AdHoc Party. However, Kai needs a wireless adapter on your computer and AdHoc Party needs a PS3 and a Japanese PSN account.

That's the problem. You need a PSP AND A PS3!!???  What if I just want a PSP and want to play globally? Well obviously I can't because Sony is filled with a bunch of retards.

yeah i feel yall on that man, i dont think i am gonna but me a ps3 just to TRY and play agaist someone on my psp. thats a huge joke. hell maybe i should get me a psp fat and hack it and pimp it all out . . the psp has so many possibilities but sony aint tryin to make anything really actually possible. i mean hell man they should make all this hack stuff for the regular updates so we dont have to hack it ourselves.  make it all legit.  then they wouldnt have to worry about customers hackin their baby.  That why i truly believe most of these video game companies dont really listen to us the gamers. i know you cant please everybody but at least take to consideration some of the peoples ideas who are buyin ya products and gettin you rich. at least ya know.  thats why i LOVE mugen. got into it 3 years ago and havent stopped yet.  i just havent had the time to get into the whole character creation part of it yet like i really want to. i think the game companies  should really take a look at the mugen community and their works and see just what we mean by listening to your players.  Sony and others do need to truly think about what they are doing before introducing new stuff that aint really new.  dont offer me much of the same  and not give me what i really would love to have. Sony knows what their systems can do and what they should be doing. but thats what happenes when you got  some retards on the R & D squad. .

I bet you $50 there's an application for PSP Homebrew to where you can play globally.. either it's out already or it's in development... I'm sure I'm not the only one fed up with that.

XLink Kai is free to download and the adapter for it only costs $15. I don't think you need to mod your psp to use it.

hahaha you aint gettin my fifty bucks! . use that to get 2 of those adapters for real. only issue i would have is do you both have to have that or should i say everyone have to have that program and adapter to play other people worldwide?  if so then it wouldnt be truly worth it cause if everyone dont have that then you still stuck with only playing against a select few that might have it. but still a good idea and totally great in the right direction. thats what i am talking about. but make it more accessable  cause if all i need is just me to have it and someone else doest then its like having the lost ark right in the palm of your hands! pure bliss. Lets hope and see how it runs and pans out. so atice you try it out and let me know if its really worth it . still not going to mod my psp tho if you have to have cfw on it to play. that would suck big time.
