Help with SnagIt 8

I made some combo vids of some mugen characters from eoh but it wont record my sounds

In that menu with capture options make sure  you click that micorphone icon.

You also have to open up your audo setings on your computer and set it from mic to internal recording.

If you dont have that option like on my computer, put your mic with your speakers in a soundproof box or something close to it and record that way.

actually i have no mic. im using my computers internal audio to do the recording. i finally got it to work. spidermew the thing you were referring to works in xp but not vista so i went around searching for a guide until i finally found on now i can record vids with sound in vista finally. if anyone else who has vista had the same problem with snagit that i had i can finally help with that.

Ok whats the trick? Cuz i hate having to use a shoe box to be my mickey moused sound booth.

that is the site i went to but bear in mind i did everything they did but i couldn't do it so heres what i did.


in the guide where it says click on SHOW DISABLED DEVICES 

i clicked on the device that was disabled the whole time turned it on and set it as my default and viola sound worked. i did test vids in between to check out each one of the changes i was making until i advanced what they said to get it going.
