hello, here is the red tornado  (by johnny dc) update
he now doesn t have some bugs problems where he was changing colors thanks to alexziq , some helpers, and a cape, see the readme to know who did what. The palettes are from spidermew.

well.... i sure hope you're still working on this:

- super aura appears WAY behind him
- diagonal tornado looks like it comes out WAY beyond his hand
- cape looks like its been glued to his head lol
- when his bottom half turns into a tonado and he jumps forward i take it that this is a 'move' however green arrow helper seems to active at the exact same time (is there an overwriting of commands?)
- lack of moves
- lack of supers (only has 1 as far as i could tell)
- No sounds :(
- no super portrait
- big portrait hasnt got trasparency....

yeah, well.... you're probably aware of mose of this and i know most of these points are'nt your doing, but they still need to be adressed before red tornado is worth playing with IMHO. Thanks for the updates still... i hope these are a stepping stone for what is to come.

I personally dont feel it's roster worthy. I tried to get help fixing up the character, but I could not find anyone willing to help. Unless someone is willing to put sprite effort into it it's a dead WIP.

Alexziq, you're right.... i agree it's not roster worthy in it's current state.... i just hope someone lends a hand with the sprites and stuff because i think this has potential and would be warmly recieved if complete  :thumbsup:

Right now I have all of the DCvM chars in a screen pack, regardless of quality but I have the arcade settings arranged so that I only play the well made ones in battle. I find this way works well and I can keep track of what's done and what needs to be done someday.

It really is too bad because there is progression on my wip. He flys, and the helper bugs are fixed, and a lot of the other bugs are fixed. However I needed a new on the ground standing stance, a flight mode stance, and new Tornado effects colored, and added to the palette. The cape needed reworked too.

It's possible if I run into someone interested he may get finished one day, but it's hard for a non-artist like myself to put in that work when I've got other Wips that people are putting all the sprite effort into, and I can just code and team up on. It's just more fun to work that way (for me anyway).

For now just chock him in there with Sinestro, Braniac, and all the other WIPs that need finished.

I would have to say that all the sprites need work . The character needs a total revamp on sprites , but it seems no one is going to do that . There was a guy making some great looking Red Tornado sprites . But he even quit .

There are a lot of older TS characters that do not go on my roster because they need so much work . But hey , we were learning back then . In order to make them roster worthy they have to be totally revamped .

this upgrade is good enough, thanks...

Wow...! I haven't done one of these in a while... Well, all said above is true! However, compared to the last version I've seen long ago, this ones playable as hell! And very worth my time of review... So lets get to it!

[GAME PLAY]
Considering he's still in his beta stages, he moves well enough, and handles pretty good to! His dash could use improving, as well as some effects. I'm sure they'll come along as he's still a WIP. He's got the basic MVC mechanics, but he still needs the hit sounds, sparks, and other MVC effects. Other than that, for now, he plays really well for a beta...

[BASICS]
Punches and kicks are all there. Chain combos are included as well as a launcher, done using his crouching HP. I swear my favorite thing in a fighting game is the ability to do aerial beat downs! THANK YOU to whomever came up with that idea... IT'S AWESOME!!

[SPECIALS]
Well, let's see here... He's got one that looks exactly like his dash...! Uhhh.... Ok... That's the one where his legs become a tornado. I believe it's done like: DB and MK, or DF and MK. You could probably do it with other kick buttons, but that's the one I end up using all the time during a combo... I'm sure there will be changes made to this move at a later time. Well I hope...
Then there are the tornado's that come forth from his hands. L and M punch do the same thing, but the HP shoots up at an angle for an anti air attack. Cool! But as stated above, the HP tornado seems to come out waay too far away from his hand... This move can also be done while in the air where the H and M punch go straight, and the LP goes down at an angle for an air to ground attack... This comes in handy as hell when trying to add more combos to a chain... As far as I know, that's it for specials. He certainly needs more moves in that department... Oh yeah! I forgot about the move where the red arrow guy comes out to shoot a few into his opponents chest... lol... I have no idea who that is. Not familiar with his character if there is one...

[SUPERS]
Ok, he's got the DF and two punch buttons move, that activates a hyper version of his tornado projectile...
There's also an air version of this same super...
And now ladies and gentlemen... The CHEAPEST MOVE IN ANY SUPERHERO CHARACTER THAT I'VE EVER SEEN...! DF and two kick buttons activates the !!SUPER CHEAP!! Double tornado!!!! I swear, if you get this move on anyone, you've won! It already takes a high amount of your opponents life bar as is... But if you continue to hold the buttons down, it'll literally drain the opponents life completely away!!! Well, that is if you happen to have a full bar of life yourself. After a short while, it'll start to drain your life as well. I guess that was a way to bring some sort of balance to that particular move, because if you have less than half a bar, and you try this, you'd probably end up KO-ing your own self... That's all I figured out for supers, I think he has at least one more...

[OVERALL]
He's not really roster ready as of yet, but he's so damn fun to play with already!!! I've gotten an 18 hit combo with just basics and specials alone! When adding supers, I've gotten a 41 hitter! that's pretty freakin good if you ask me. Any character that can do that, is more than welcome to be apart of my roster. And I NEED more comic characters as there aren't too many well made ones for Mugen yet. So all in all, this guy is coming along fine! And I for one can not wait till he's done and completed. Like I said, he's not fully really roster ready, but I think he's well enough to keep in while he's still a WIP. Trust me...! You're gonna need that spot when he's done. Plus he's still fun to play as, and worth the DL... I give him a 6 out of 10...
