Make a lifebar?

I don't know if this question has been already ask but how do you make a life bar. please reply

I`m pretty sure it`s almost the same as a char or stage sprite, but it needs the Fill Bar (MvC`s is Yellowish) and the Damage Bar (usually red), open a lifebar .sff with Fighter Factory and see how it works better there..., the rest is coding.
