Stage music volume

I finally was able to get the stage music working properly in my Mugen but one more problem remains - the music is way too quiet compared to the sound (attacks, voices etc.). I am aware that under the music input section in the stage's .def folder there is a volume config section, but increasing the numbers doesn't seem to have any effect on the bgm's volume. What is the range of numbers that I'm supposed to use? Is there any other way to increase the volume of the bgm or lower the volume of the sounds so the bgm appears louder? Help is much appreciated, thanks.

Open your mugen.cfg and look in Sound Configuration (Windows).

Find something like this...

WavVolume = 128
MidiVolume = 192
MP3Volume = 135  ;This affects all Winamp-compatible plugins as well
ModVolume = 80
CDAVolume = -1
Change the MP3Volume to 255 though the limit is 200.

If you still have problems hearing your music, then I suggest lowering the characters' CNS File or WavVolume on mugen.cfg.

YES! The volume is perfect now after setting the mp3 volume to 255. Lowering the wav volume a little also helped a lot. Thank you Dissidia btw, I've played FF Dissidia and it's awesome.
