Chaos Balrog update 6/6/09

EDIT: patch http://www.mugenevolution.co.uk/patch.zip (looks like i left out stateno=  in one of the helpers that control the super ko finish bg..... it was showing that bg for normal move finishes which was wrong lol) download the .cns patch for the fix

well, he added some custom moves and stuff. he does that with all his chars

well if you read on my homepage i explain what "Chaos" means, if you dont want to read ill explain.


Chaos is just a prefix i use because im known as blackchaos so my characters have Chaos placed before them, and i make characters of my own style which includes their own moves they originally have plus custom moves.... the custom moves i have added are EX moves.... shove & ex shove... buffalo showdown ect.

you only have to download my chaos blanka for a good example of custom moves.

you might be getting confused with gief or someone else, i only released him today lol


whats the deal with gief huh?   a mech mode is planned..... im definately gonna make him as a seperate character, ill be honest with you, alot of people like my version of him, i actually hate him now lol i should have used accurate velocities like i did for balrog..... instead i tried something new which isnt a bad thing but i shouldnt have made him so fast seeing as he is a large character, he should have been slower but all my characters shall get updates eventually :)  i will update akuma but seeing as he is my first creation(when i was green as a pea lol) even though he isnt too bad he can definately be improved and i'd probably use cvs sprites this time instead of sucky sucky svc.

Ah, i see. Well, I havent used your 'Gief yet and will in a few minutes. Gotta get my 360 controller back from another dorm. IMO Gief needed to be faster and have at least a MvC combo system. Ive always liked him but he couldnt really keep up or counter the rest of the SF chars. So, mugen is mos def the place to add the Chaos. Maybe give him and SGS too. :D j/p.

funny you should say MVC, he is a cross between cvs and mvc lol.... i gave him a launch(i think its c.hp)

and he can do some air combos too if you like that sorta stuff, but as i said i'd prob update all my characters anyway so who knows what i might change in him.

this is a great balrog espeacaily with the new moves. are you gonna make a mvc patch....he got my vote for a spot in EOH(sorry acey lol)

Hey, thanks for posting this here, BC! I gotta give you props for giving some love to SF chars that often get overlooked (Blanka has always been my favorite SF char, and I've always thought Balrog was way underated). I've been using your Blanka for quite awhile now, so I' looking forward to trying this one out!

Will post feedback if I find anything out of whack with him.

Updated again

Added Air Throw + AI to it.

tweaked collisions in gethit frames and walk.

removed run(AI uses run) kept hop forward

if anyone wants run  change the value to 100

[State -1,Dash]
type = ChangeState
value = 102<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<change to 100
triggerall = var(30)!=1 << add this too because i have AI on run and not having this will interfere.
triggerall = statetype!=A
trigger1 = command = "FF"

yo guys redownload fixed some minor issues with air throw, width was needed in corner and range shortened from x<20 to x<15
