My WIP character makes a clone of hisself after a win
« on: May 17, 2009, 06:29:22 PM »
I'm stumped. I tried looking everywhere in the CNS, including the commons and overrides, for anything related the the Standing action of "0" in the ID's, values, or anything connected to the standing action (like 5050), but I can't find it.

I took pictures for proof.

CutmanV made a clone of his self, temporarily, after a slow-motion and other KO effects from the win, takes place.

Anyone who wants to help me on this, please do! CV's almost to completion. :)

The cake is a PIe!

If its with effects then something like a destroy self for one of the helpers or explods are not coded. Im pretty sure for every Effect like hyper effects win pose effects need a destroy self for the helper and/or explod. Atleast thats what it seemed when I was making hyper effects for my Shin level 2 akuma a year ago. I had huge problems with clones back then. I can't tell you exactly how I fixed it because it was so long ago.

But basically with any Mugen char its a heck of alot of trial and error. So remove a piece of code then do a test and keep removing/adding back each piece of code till you find the problem.

Yes it's surely that , you may have a helper in the state that is not right coded ,
the helper doesn't exists so it creates a double of the character !

Maybe the code in the win or the KO effect refers to an helper state
that is coded in statedef-2 or statedef-3 too .
