Movie has already premiered in some places(for example,in Argentina it premieres today)
All i have to say is...NO!
Judging on the movie review(which gave it a 3 out of 5) it says that is has taken too many liberties on the plot,and that they are planning a trilogy from what they heard about this
Imo,with "Goku" being bother at school because of his funky hairdo,that pretty much ruins it,because i assume the character won't have any resemblance to our innocent minded beloved hero
 
This movie would have been accurate if they made it with Gohan,but they made it with a 18 year-old "goku"

EDIT:i will not go to the movies and watch this blashpemy of a movie,even though Akira Toriyama asked the fans to see this as "an alternate universe for the story"

Ya the story and character design looks all displaced.

Its obvious this movie will have nothing to do with the anime or manga but will through in a little bit here and there to appeal to long term fans while trying to make it so that non fans will come and see it cause of the action.

They need to focus on the real fans when making movies. Everyone knows that non fans will see a movie anyway cause it looks cool.

I've already seen it to.... and i grew up a DBZ fan.... and i waited forever for them to make a live action film... and the F*CKED it all up!

I saw it today and its a load of crap..

Why is it so hard to just convert the series to live action.

The dialog is all there, the plot is there!

  Actually, I thought the movie was pretty good,  other than the tail/moon thing missing and being replaced with a solar eclipse, and him going to school. That actually had me in a tidbit. I think the movie was good, and I won't be suprised if they make another. Sorry, But I thought it was good...
Really, of the Dragonball stuff might not hae worked for the film, therefore them cutting it out.

  Seriously I am not even gonna compare the movie to the anime and manga....it fails there. If I see this, I will see this as a movie, cause it is the only way to watch it. It might have the names and stuff, but you shouldn't compare it to the series. I know it is will be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY different from the series, why bother. I will hate it if I compare it to the series. If I take it for what it is, then I might be fine. I have the idea what changes they have cause it is Hollywood and Hollywood, will screw fans in the butt if it means getting the most profit.
