ports idea need help

i was wanting to have player 1 and player 2 use 2 different ports in the select and vs screens but iam unable to find where or how to do it. player 1 would use 9000,1 and player 2 9000,2 or something like that. i know you can tell the lifebars what ports to use

In the lifebars you can do it by looking in the lifebars fight.def and changing -

;-----------------------------------------------------------
[Face]
;Player 1
...
p1.face.spr = 9000,1  <-------
...

I don't think you can have different ones for p1 and p2 in the select or versus screen... or at least I couldn't find a way last time I checked.
