MP3 songs play choppy sounds in stages.

I need help. Whenever playing a stage with MP3 format songs, the song is choppy, and only plays for about a second correctly when you attack. Is it because of a bad soundcard? All I have for music are midis, currently.

Try this:

Open your Control Panel, then double-click on Sounds and Audio Devices. On the Volume tab, click on Advanced in the Speaker Settings section. Go to the Performance tab, then where it says Hardware Acceleration, set it to Basic Acceleration or Emulation Only. Hit Apply then OK. Finished.
