I am trying to do some reseach but I dont know what something is called maybe you can help me please if I give a description.


what are those trading cards called that move when you turn them from left to right....example"A baseball card of a batter that looks like he is swinging his bat when you move the card let to right."   I just want to know what try of pictire that is.....people keep saying it a hologram but It doesnt sound right.   can you help me

its more of a special kind of hologram, where you move the card the picture changes. I personally don't know what they are called, they were pretty big in the 90's.

Well they can also be called holographic aswell. But yea i guess those are called holofoil.

You're thinking of a lenticular hologram and not a holofoil layer.

Holofoil is the stamped shapes as in pokemon cards.

A [lenticular] hologram has an image drawn onto many faces of grooves that appear to change as the angle changes.

Ahh yeah, the old days of rushing to my local comic book store and buying marvel cards..

I miss those days, trapper keepers full of marvel, nfl, and baseball cards..
