I recommend making boundleft the negative equivalent of boundright.  I'm about to give some pointers so I hope you don't mind.   :P

As they are, you have:

boundleft = -256
boundright = 431

I would switch this to:

boundleft = -343
boundright = 343

So 87 was subtracted from boundleft and 88 was subtracted from boundright.  Subtract either number from X in the start values of each of the BG objects to get them all realigned.

Someone said it's best to keep the boundleft and boundright values equal like that so that neither character has an advantage.  I guess the advantage is being able to corner your opponent or something.

Yeah, it's best to keep the stage symmetrical, otherwise one character has more room to maneuver at the start of the match, which can be a real advantage.

Otherwise, nice looking stage!
