well I just saw this news article about pennies (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2009/01/09/2009-01-09_save_your_pennies_coins_in_circulation_m.html) and the third picture it says something about seeing a D on the penny. But I'm wondering if the penny with the D has to be the same year as the one in the picture cuz I found out I have a 1993 penny has a D at the bottom and I want some money for it .

it has to have a d i believe and any year i remember hearing this and every time i found a penny id search for a d also a quarter aswell gets you money if it has a d but id make sure about the year just to be safe

The little D means the coin was minted in Denver...I don't remember where the other coin mint is at though?
