Character portrait question...

Hello!

Is there a way to alter the DEF system of the mugen to make it choose an image of a char, instead of the portrait (AKA make it choose sprite "1,1" instead of "9000,1"?

Hmmmm, not exactly..I don't think you can change the actual number the engine chooses the pick the big portrait in the select screen in any of the current hacks, since 9000,1 is used as the default. The only portrait you can change is in fight, and it's the one on the life bars.
