I've seen a sprite with Sagat used as a base , I'm not sure if it's a W.I.P now.

ive seen an SNK Sprite looked really good kinda dont like the MVC style cuz he looks 2 cartoony

SNK made it more realistic

I think Doom is doing one, but I don't have a sprite to show you what it looks like.
Its partly Sagat and Urien last I checked...

I really like what Apoc posted...I just wondered if anyone was WIPing him so I wouldnt be wasting my time if I did a couple sprites
