FighterFactory: Cmd. Special help!
« on: October 28, 2008, 08:37:45 PM »
Here's the problem:

I had started a new special for my upcoming character and is starting to make another one. When I put in the moves set for the command and the StateDef for the special, it confuses the command of the new special with the previous one, making 2 commands for the previous special. I didn't type anything wrong or anything silly. I typed in the command name correctly and the StateDef correctly and they're separate, moves and all, even the values are separate. What makes it even more weird is that when I go and edit the moves. The one special has the command name given to it, but the moves for it are the previous special's moves. Example:

Special2's command name
It's own moves

Special1's command name
Specail2's moves

I click on the command given again without changing it, it returns to its correct move set, but when I go edit Special1's command, it has it's command name, but the moves are the same as Special2's!

Special2's command name
Special1's moves

Special1's command name
It's own moves

Can anyone help me get though this problem? It looks like there's a bug in Fighter Factory.  /:O

Thank you very much! Also I know what's the problem. The bug is caused by a typo within the beginning actions. Special 1's state action is different from the beginning action.  :D

I'm new at character making, so I'll be asking more questions in the future.
