How do you convert lo-res stages into hi-res stages?

I understand I will have to 2x the sprites. How can i do this with FF and a pre-exsisting stage. I am a little confused here on how to do this. I know this is a common question but I have searched the forum and all of the posts state to double the size of the sprites but nothing else. Could anyone help me?   :-"

you use a program like photoshop to blow up the image x2 and then you fine detail every sprite.

I understand all that but what I need to know is how to code this . What is being used as a basis to implement the hi res i am working on two stages and neithe came out right.  :o

You just adjust the positing by 2x in either the sff or def.

put HIres = 1 in the def. file

put HIres = 1 in the def. file

Well only if you are using mugen plus. You need to do this stuff for hi-res mugen.
