Movie Maker 2.6 help

Ok i recently had to reinsal movie maker 2.6, I lost all my extra tansissions i downloaded and cant find them.
But another thing i cant seem to do is mute the video clip so that the audo file im adding is heard only.
How do you edit the audo track of a video youve importaed so it fades away or is muted?
