Movie Maker 2.6 suddenly wont work anymore

When i turn it on and try to do anything, it says movie maker 2.6 has stoped working.
Ive uninstualed it like 6 times and cleared everything, cant get it to work at all.
Does anyone have an answer, or an alternate free movie editor, because i cant pay for the good stuff..

ah yes vista that version runs much smoother and bugless..that is
NOT 2.6
it bugs like fu** so just use 2.00

You lose support for DIVX, MPEG-2, and Dolby 2ch after 15 days in the free edition of VideoSpin. So what's the catch? You need to buy the full edition to have support for those codecs after 15 days.
