Play Nes Roms on Ps3 Without installation of Linux.

  * Unzip the ps3filer.zip archive
  * Copy NES ROMs to the AVCHD directory
  * Copy the AVCHD directory to the root of a USB/Flash drive
  * Go to the device in the XMB video menu and launch “AVCHD”
The controls are simple; use either the left analog or the d-pad. The square button for "B" and the x button for "A". For start and select, simply press triangle to bring up the PS3's video options menu and then press 1 for select and 2 for the start button. Pressing 3 will return you to the rom-list selection menu and 4 will toggle between different frameskip options.

To install first copy your NES roms into the folder named "Roms" then simply copy the AVCHD folder into the root of a storage device, like a memory stick(PSP) or a USB stick. Then go over to the video section on your XMB and press X on the said device. Then once inside you'll see what appears to be a video called "AVCHD". Run it and there you go.

Sloppy translations aside, this application works really great and has been tested by yours truly. Although the emulator does not have working sound for games and isn't in fullscreen display, its a great sign of the PS3 homebrew scene expanding. Hopefully in the future we can see an update to this emulator with working sound and fullscreen capability. The download link is below which includes the newest version of the emulator, enjoy!

Plus the NES is very rare to get in a working condition. I have a friend who has 2-3 NES consoles.

This a Huge Exploit For the Ps3 expect snes On the next update There planning to have every single Emu running even Though i have Ubuntu Linux on my ps3 this still is Very interesting

A controller is better than the keyboard, plus my NES games makes my computer processor top out at 129°F and the FPS is better on the PS3.

No and I'd rather not move a old desktop downstairs just to play a emulator at a slow FPS and no sound. The PS3 is better because I can play in more decent FPS and have less stuff to play with making the setup simple and it works hands down.

Well when you get a hot pc trust me you want to get it to the living room. You can't replace the ps3 game library, but the a new pc does everything else better.
