Pallet Sharing and Non Sharing Issues with EOH Template

So I've come to notice something that I am not really familiar with, when it comes to making various pallets as I've now encountered this problem with two different characters I'm creating..

When using the EOH template to build my chars, everythings fine as I'm inputting the sprites to the SFF and if I make various color pallets for different players, they come out perfect. Now the problem is when I begin inputting the "get hit" sprites (5000+ groups) I first:

a.) Tryied replacing/changing the exististing dummy sprite with the sprite of my character in the same position. Doing this requires me to use the "auto crop" tool in figther factory, but afterwards the "shared pallete" option is automatically selected as it was with the dummy sprite prior to the exchange (With one of the two chars, it even lets me see the various colors while in the SFF of fighter factory). However in game, even if i'm using two completely different colors palletes (we'll call "set3.act" and "set4.act" to be away from the original "set1.act"), when the char is hit he revert back to the original pallette, but return back to color as he returns back to his "0" or standing state

or...

b.) Add a new sprite and place it next to the dummy sprite I was trying to override, assign the grouping and alignment. The "Sharing Pallet" Opinion is on again and once again in play, the character will revert back to the original pallet when hit and goes back to "Set3.act" when returned to his standing state. If I deselect the "shared pallet" opinion, for some reason, he chances color to the color i was trying to assign, which I thought solved my problem but now if Set1.act is in a get hit state, now it changes colors similar to "Set3.act", returning back to 'Set1.act" when returned to his standing state.

Yeh... a lil confused here.
