These early pre-Heath Ledger Joker conceptual designs can be found in The Art of The Dark Knight. I was shocked to discover that the Joker design they eventually settled on, actually seems a lot tamer than some of the early concepts. I recommend picking up the book, as it also features the entire shooting script.

Design 3 looks like Jimmy Urine, the lead singer of MSI, . What book are you talking about? The comic the movie was based off? My friend was looking for that the other day but had no luck. We did however find the "Killing Joke" comic which I hear is awesome. I'm waiting for him to lend it to me, .

the killing joke is the one in which joke attacks Barbara gordon and leaves her disabled right?If that´s the one,it was awesome indeed,the first serious batman comic i´ve read
