what do u use to produce music

cuz im tryin to make beats 4 my friend but idk i got fl studios and acid but

im having a hard time finding the right sounds and stuff to use

i wish there was a computer program like the mpc series

Here's the stuff you need:
(1)A microphone
(2)A musical instrument (digital or real)
(3)A sound recording program (ex: Audacity)
(4)Talent*

*What's it worth doing it if you don't have talent?

You have the right idea with FL and Acid, just don't (for the love of god DON'T) use Audacity.

Since you're making beats, you should check out this site for some noises to use. http://www.synthzone.com/drums.htm It has a bunch of smaples you can use to make your own beat.

yea i kno what you mean...im on a block right now :(i make music to.if i was you i would just play around with it just to get use to it...thats the only way u learn how to use a program like fl studios...that and tutorials
