How do u make a char in mugen

please someone tell me what programs I need to make sprites and chars I've never done it before so how???

looked at youtube I'm trying to create a sprite from scratch of just edit another char to look like another

You should try using KFM as a base as I heard that helps a lot.

first you have to download fighter factory, then you can use paint to do your sprites that s what i do.

Fighter Factory, or Mugen Character maker. You can open up the character, and sift through the sprites. Making a Mugen character is a lot of work though, there is no program that creates moves or anything like that. Each sprite has to be edited, and new moves coded along with them.

Not that I'm assuming you dont know that, but a lot of guys think its like creating a character in Smackdown or something, which its not. Fiddeling with Fighter Factory, and asking a lot of questions is how most of us learned.
